Before Leaving Home

"Learning safely, together"

The safety of our students remains our highest priority and, as such, we have comprehensive procedures in place to ensure we adhere to all Ministry of Education (MoE) guidelines. We respectfully request that you read the following carefully as it contains very important information.

Before leaving home

1. Health Monitoring

Parents are required to take the temperature of all children before they leave the house each day. If anyone’s temperature is 37.5 °C (or above) and / or they are showing any SYMPTOMS (click link) then they must remain at home and should not return to school until they are able to do so as certified by a qualified physician (medical certificate).

2. Uniform

  • School uniform must be worn as usual.

  • Face masks will be a mandatory part of the school uniform.

  • Students should wear a washed, clean uniform to school every day.

3. ISS Passcard

  • Ensure your children have their ISS Passcard with them. No Passcard, no entry.

  • Ensure any parent (who is planning to enter the school) has their ISS Passcard with them. No Passcard, no entry.

  • Very Important: Visitor Passcards will NOT be issued.

4. Equipment

  • Face Mask - Students are expected to bring their own masks (either reusable or disposable). Reusable masks must be washed each day at home. No mask, no entry to school.

  • School Bags - Students are allowed to bring SMALL school bags to school that will contain only essential items.

  • Water Bottles - All students must have a clearly named reusable water bottle.

  • Stationery - Students should bring their own stationery in accordance with the standard school equipment lists provided School Stationery List. Stationery cannot be shared. Where this is not possible, students will be provided with basic stationery items. Students should also have a pencil case (with their name on it) to contain all stationery items.
