The International School of Samui
Arriving at School
"Learning safely, together"
The safety of our students remains our highest priority and, as such, we have comprehensive procedures in place to ensure we adhere to all Ministry of Education (MoE) guidelines. We respectfully request that you read the following carefully as it contains very important information.
Arriving at School
The two entrances will be open and have a one-way entrance and exit system with clear signage and distancing markers.
Everyone planning to enter the school campus must:
have their ISS PASSCARD- no Passcard, no entry
wear a mask (an additional face visor is optional)
pass through shoe disinfectant trays
sanitise their hands
have their temperature taken. If anyone's temperature is 37.5 °C or above they cannot enter the school campus.
Social distancing of at least one metre must be maintained.
Parents will not be permitted to enter the school buildings without prior arrangement.
Parents are allowed on the school campus as long as they fully comply with all the safety measures that are in place throughout the school. For example, ISS, Passcard, temperature checking, wearing a mask, maintaining social distance. This is very important.
We respectfully ask parents to only come onto the school campus if it is absolutely necessary. If it is absolutely necessary then only one parent should enter the school and minimise their time in the school as much as possible.
